Ex-partners who control technical devices in the home can often continue to terrorize their victims with smart everyday devices. These threats can really drive their victims crazy. Lights, music and robot vacuum cleaners that are suddenly switched on at night are probably harmless.

However, perpetrators can also use the linked accounts to find out when their victims are at home, eavesdrop on them or spy on them with cameras.

You can simply switch off affected devices or disconnect them from the power supply. If you are familiar with them, you should connect them to new accounts that you control exclusively.
