Checklist: Apps and operating system

It is important to keep apps and operating systems on your cell phone up to date and in good working order, as regular updates close security gaps and offer protection against new threats. Outdated software can be susceptible to security risks such as malware or exploits that can be used by attackers. Correct settings also ensure that apps only receive the necessary permissions and that personal data is not unnecessarily exposed. By regularly checking and updating the software and carefully managing app permissions, the device remains secure and privacy is protected.
