Data protection at a glance

This website has been designed to collect as little data as possible. No personal data is stored on the server. Neither cookies nor classic tracking methods are used. Some non-personal data is stored in your browser's local storage to improve the functionality of the website. Statistical usage data is collected anonymously using Matomo - without the need for consent.

Server logfiles and hosting

This website is hosted on servers of netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe. A contract for order processing (AVV) was concluded with the hoster in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Note on server logs:

• No log files** are created or stored on the root server operated by us.
• However, it is possible that netcup, as the hosting provider, records access in log files on the system side (e.g. to defend against attacks or to ensure operation).
• This log data is the responsibility of the hosting provider and is not analyzed by us.

Cookies

This website does not use any cookies - neither functional, nor analysis or tracking cookies.

Matomo (Consentless Privacy Mode)

We use Matomo, a data protection-friendly open source web analysis platform, in so-called Consentless Privacy Mode. Thereby:

• no cookies are set,
• IP addresses are anonymized,
• no personal data is stored,
• no data passed on to third parties.

The analysis is completely anonymous and is used exclusively to improve the website. Consent is not required for this in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Local data storage (Local Storage)

To implement the gamified approach and improve the user experience, the application stores certain information locally in your browser (local storage). This includes:

• your progress on tasks (e.g. checked off tasks),
• selected filter or category settings,
• whether you have already visited detailed pages for tasks.

This data is not transmitted to the server and remains exclusively on your device.

You can delete it completely at any time using the button at the bottom of the page.

SSL or TLS encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the address line of your browser ("https://") and the lock symbol. This protects transmitted data from access by third parties.
